Our experience with Equus Capital Partners has been nothing but exceptional. Every promise made by Equus throughout the development approval process has been delivered. The development of Innovation Way and The Knitting Mills has brought close to 1,000 new jobs to the Borough, enabled full grant funding for a $2 million multi-modal transportation project, and has reinvigorated commercial development and interest in the area.
In 2003 Wyeth called upon Equus Development to solve a critical shortage of office space within a crucial time frame. Equus designed, developed and delivered 183,363 square feet of class A Build-to-Suit space for Wyeth in a period of only twelve months. It was a pleasure to work with their entire development team throughout the whole process.
Wyeth Pharmaceuticals – Two-Building 183,000 SF Office Build to Suit
Shippensburg Township has worked with Equus Capital Partners for more that ten years on various projects within the Township. The flagship project was a 1,100,500 SF Warehouse/Distribution facility which required significant coordination and permitting with not only our Township but multiple PA State agencies. Equus was exceptional at working through challenging entitlements and bringing a Fortune 50 business to our Township, providing high quality jobs and productive new tax basis for our community. We appreciate a company like Equus who worked as a true partner over many years with Shippensburg Township to make the I-81 Logistics Center a successful endeavor.
UGI Energy Services worked with Equus to find a headquarters location for several hundred employees with the goal of supporting a community re-vitalization effort. Equus delivered successfully on this plan and we have put down roots in the West Reading/Wyomissing community.

Equus has done an outstanding job as a partner with us throughout the development of our state-of-the-art AmeriHealth Caritas corporate headquarters at Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square. Their dedicated team of experts has gone above and beyond to bring our vision to life and create work environments where our associates are inspired to collaborate, innovate, and achieve their fullest potential. We are so proud of the result and our new “home” will inspire our associates for decades to come.
AmeriHealth – 378,000 SF Trophy Office Build to Suit
Tower Health and Equus began working together as part of Equus’ redevelopment of the VF Outlets in West Reading and Wyomissing. What started as an excellent working relationship, led to a trusted partnership and culminated with the development of The Drexel University College of Medicine at Tower Health. Together, we have created a project that will positively impact The Greater Reading Area for generations to come.
